Jets running back Breece Hall has taken to his official instagram to post what looks to be a call to be traded to end his time with Gang Green. The underused running back simply said “They want me to lay down, but I got sum to stand for” before adding the hashtag #Free20.
Hall’s frustration is more than understandable at this point. From the moment he was drafted, he’s dealt with nothing but incompetent coaching and league-worst quarterback play. A dual threat running back who, on this team, should be seeing almost double digit targets ever week, is seeing an average of just four per game.
Blessed with the skillset to be one of the NFL’s top backs, Hall has had a disappointing career thus far and clearly sees a trade as the only way he can truly break out and perhaps win some football games.
A team like the Kansas City Chiefs would make perfect sense for Hall as they lack a back of his stature, and have a head coach who would make Hall one of the best running backs in the NFL.
