Jets vs. Bills Betting Preview | Week 18 2025

Aaron Glenn

It may be a new year, but Andre from UnitedGamblers.com is still here to talk Jets football. He has appeared on JetNation throughout the 2025 NFL season to provide betting information, tips, and predictions for the New York Jets and the NFL. Gang Green’s season finale is the topic this week.

There was some good. There was plenty of bad. Things definitely got ugly at various points.

Regardless, another Jets season is 60 minutes away from being in the books. Hoping to end on a high note, New York will travel to face the rival Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Buffalo has taken the last four meetings between the teams.

Can Aaron Glenn cap his first (and possibly only?) season as the Jets head coach with a winning effort? Or, will the team help itself secure better draft positioning this weekend? Check out our thoughts below and head over to one of New York’s top sportsbooks to bet on the Jets for the final time this season.

New York Jets Spread vs. Bills: +7.5 (-115) via FanDuel Sportsbook

The Jets have been a disaster down the stretch. They’ve lost four straight games by at least 23 points. Fittingly, they also failed to cover the spread in each of those defeats.

New York only scored more than 10 points once in that stretch, and has averaged 11.5 points per game during the skid. Meanwhile, the defense coughed up at least 29 points in each of the previous four games. That unit has allowed 38.3 points per contest during this losing streak.

Gang Green enters Week 18 31st in sacks, 31st in sacks allowed, and last in turnover differential. Although Buffalo is likely to rest key players, that doesn’t feel like enough to trust the Jets’ spread at this point.

Not only have the Bills had New York’s number the past few years, but only one of those games was within 20 points at the end. The matchup between the 2025 iterations of the clubs ended with a 30-10 Buffalo victory.

With or without the big names playing, the Bills should be the better team on Sunday, especially at home. The Jets’ spread and moneyline don’t feel like smart plays this week.

Jets vs. Bills Total Pick: Over 37.5 (-112) via DraftKings Sportsbook

On the flip side, taking the over in Jets games has been very safe, especially in the past five weeks, where it’s won four times. It helps that the Jets are 30th in points allowed entering the final week of the regular season.

Buffalo’s been in a pretty similar boat lately, with three of their previous four matchups finding their way over the total. The Bills are sixth in scoring this season and average 30.8 points at home.

This could be a similar case to the Jacksonville game, where one team beats the total single-handedly. Even if that’s not true, Sunday’s total is too low, regardless of how many starters are inactive on either side.

Ride with the over one last time this weekend.
