The New York Jets have made another move on the defensive side of the ball by signing pro-bowl cornerback Nahshon Wright away from the Chicago Bears.
Wright had a career year in 2025, intercepting five passes and running one back 74 yards for a touchdown. He also fits the Aaron Glenn mold of a corner as a tall, lanky corner who can disrupt opposing receivers trying to locate the football. Aside from the five interceptions, Wright had 11 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles.
By adding Wright, the Jets bring in a third defensive back after trading for Minkah Fitzpatrick and signing former Giants safety Dane Belton. After failing to intercept a single pass in 2025, adding three defensive backs who combined for seven picks last season should be a welcome sight for Jets fans.
In all, the Jets have now added nine new players with eight of them being on the defensive side of the ball.
