About JetNation

JetNation.com is a fan run website devoted to all things Jets.  We are your home for New York Jets news.  We launched in 2005 with a simple goal; to create a home for Jet fans that was fun. We try to provide a relaxed atmosphere for die-hard football fans.  Since we are not affiliated with SNY or the New York Jets, the opinions you get are never censored.  NY Jets fans are a passionate bunch and JetNation is home for the fans of all ages.  If you believe this Jets team is different or if you believe these are the same old Jets, this is your site.

JetNation has grown over the years and stands today as the largest independent community of Jets fans.  Our NY Jet forum is approaching 5 million posts and has over 21,000 registered members. The site routinely surpasses a million page views each month.  The JetNation community also extends to a large presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube with over 50,000 social media followers in total.

Phil Sullivan (Managing Partner \ Site Owner)

Phil started JetNation.com in 2005 to give Jets fans a home for Jets talk. He lives in Central NJ and is a proud father of three, all of whom are Jets fans.

His connection to the team began in 1988 when his late wife, Lauren, bought him season tickets as a Christmas gift before they were married. That gift sparked a tradition that has continued ever since. Lauren Sullivan passed away in 2024 after a 12-year battle with cancer.

Phil has only missed three home games, one for their wedding in 1993, one in 1995 to stay home with his young son during a tough season under Rich Kotite, and one in 2000 due to work. He has never missed a game at MetLife Stadium and often travels to road games as well.

As Site Owner and Managing Partner, Phil oversees all content and the technical aspects of JetNation, including servers, cloud hosting, software, and upgrades. He also manages the site’s marketing strategy, public relations, and customer service, ensuring that JetNation continues to grow while staying true to its fan-first mission.

Glenn Naughton (Editor)

A Jets fan since 1987, Glenn is a retired Air Force veteran who currently resides in the United Kingdom but keeps up on the minute-to-minute happenings of the New York Jets. He has been writing for JetNation.com since 2014 and has been part of the JetNation community since its inception.

In addition to his role as editor, Glenn is the host of JetNation Radio, the site’s long-running New York Jets podcast. Each week he breaks down games, news, and roster moves while bringing in guests from around the league and the media. His knowledge of the team and straightforward style have helped make JetNation Radio one of the most trusted independent Jets podcasts available.

Courtney Aurillo (Social Media Strategy Consultant)

Courtney has been part of the JetNation team for over 10 years and is a lifelong Jets fan. She provides strategic guidance on operations and digital growth, bringing her expertise in social media and brand management to the community.

Outside of JetNation, Courtney is a co-owner of MILE Social, a digital marketing agency that helps businesses manage and grow their online presence. Her experience in digital marketing has played a key role in shaping JetNation’s social media presence and fan engagement across platforms.

Courtney lives down the NJ Shore with her husband Eric and their young daughter.

Shane Sullivan (Head of Social Media and Football Content)

Shane has been a Jets fan for as long as he can remember, attending his first game at just four years old. By the time he was five, he was already a season ticket holder. A standout athlete, Shane played offensive line in high school and college.

Shane serves as JetNation’s Head of Social Media and football Content. He leads the site’s social strategy while creating original football content, including analysis and film breakdowns, giving fans fresh insights into the team.
