Milliner Injures Ankle

New York Jets

In addition to losing Dexter McDougle, the Jets have yet another cornerback related concern. Dee Milliner injured his ankle during practice on Sunday.

Rex Ryan described what happened on the play. ” I saw the play. He just goes and tries to defend the (ball), going against Quincy (Enunwa), tries to make the play on the football and came down and rolled his ankle.” Rex also indicated that Milliner would undergo an MRI. Ian Rappoport provides some updates on the prognosis.

After the injury to McDougle, the Jets depth will be tested even more. Having Milliner out for a few weeks will give the Jets time to see what they have in a group that includes Dimitri Patterson, Darrin Walls, Ellis Lankster, Rasi-I Dowling and a few other younger players including rookie Jeremy Reeves.
