NEW YORK JETS KICK-OFF 2005 SEASON AT NORTH FORK BANK TRAINING CAMP AS PLAYERS REPORT JULY 28
New York City – The New York Jets will begin their 2005 NFL season when they
report to the North Fork Bank Training Camp at Hofstra University on Thursday, July 28. All New York Jets players (85) under contract are expected to report for training camp.
Practices begin on Friday, July 29 and are open to the public. While the Jets invite all fans to attend their daily practices, there are occasions in which the team must practice indoors due to inclement weather. Thus, when the team is forced inside the practice bubble, practices will be closed to the public. Fans are encouraged to call the team’s fan line at (516) 560-8288 for the most up-to-date news regarding practice schedules.

GENERATION JETS FEST: Generation Jets Fest, an interactive NFL theme park, will be open everyday starting July 29th through August 24th. Generation Jets Fest will be held adjacent to the Jets’ practice fields on the north campus of Hofstra University.
DIRECTIONS TO NEW YORK JETS TRAINING COMPLEX HOFSTRA UNVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD (LONG ISLAND), N.Y.
· Grand Central Parkway to Northern State Parkway to Exit 31-A, Meadowbrook Parkway. Continue south of Meadowbrook to exit M-4 (Hempstead Turnpike). Head west on Hempstead Turnpike (Fulton Ave.) to North campus entrance (right at the third light). At the second stop sign, make a hard right and proceed just shy of the first stop sign. Make a left into the parking lot and park.
· Long Island Expressway (LIE) to Exit 38. Proceed south on Northern State parkway to exit 31-A, Meadowbrook Parkway, continue south on Meadowbrook to exit M-4 (Hempstead Turnpike). Head west on Hempstead Turnpike (Fulton Ave.) to North campus entrance (right at the third light). At the second stop sign, make a hard right and proceed just shy of the first stop sign. Make a left into the parking lot and park.
· Southern State Parkway to exit 22, Meadowbrook Parkway North. Continue north on Meadowbrook to exit M-4 (Hempstead Turnpike). Head west on Hempstead Turnpike (Fulton Ave.) to North campus entrance (right at third light). At the second stop sign, make a hard right and proceed just shy of the first stop sign. Make a left into the parking lot and park.
