The NY Jets announced today that nine year pro Tim Dwight was placed on injured reserve. Dwight was serving as the teams punt returner and 4th receiver, he had 16 catches this season.Â
Taking his place on the active roster is Wallace Wright. Wright signed with the Jets in May 2006 as an undrafted free agent. He had been on the Jets practice squad and really caught the attention of the coaching staff. He will be with the team on Sunday when they face the Packers.
