The NY Jets were beaten soundly by the Buffalo Bills in the Meadowlands. By losing to the Bills (31 – 13) the Jets playoff chances took a severe hit as well. The Jets dropped to 7 and 6 with this loss.Â
The story of the game was big plays. They made all the difference as the Bills scored on a Willis McGahee 57 yard run. Also Nate Clements picked off a pass from Chad Pennington and returned it 58 yards for a TD. Lee Evans scored on a 77 yard reception on a crucial 3rd down. The Jets could not counter Buffalo’s big play ability today and it was reflected on the scoreboard.
