Left Tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson (selected 4th overall) and Center Nick Mangold (29th overall) were named to the NFL All-Rookie team. The selections were made by Pro Football Weekly and the Pro Football Writers of America.
Their biggest accomplishment was protecting Chad Pennington and keeping him healthy for 16 games for the first time in his career. With a full year under their belt, the Jets offensive line looks strong going into next season. Only Right Tackle Anthony Clement is not under contract for next season.
