The NY Jets announced that they have claimed RB Danny Ware off waivers from the Titans. The Jets have also waived RB Kyle Steffes.
Ware, who is 22 years old, is 6’1 tall and weighs 225 pounds. In three seasons at Georgia he rushed for 1,510 yards. His best season was in 2004 when he gained 692 rushing yards for Georgia. Ware declared for the NFL draft early but was not selected.Â
