Rich Cimini has reported in today’s NY Daily News that the Jets have agreed to trade Pete Kendall. Cimini also reported that Kendall was pulled off the practice field yesterday which also served to fuel this speculation.
ProFootballTalk.com is also reporting that Kendall is being shipped to the Washington Redskins for a 4th rounder. Our take? Kendall had to go, he didn’t want to be here and the coaching staff obviously feels he isn’t the player he was a few years ago. To get a 4th round pick in return for him would be a very good deal, for the Jets.Â
