Eric Mangini held his press conference today and announced that the Jets have waived WR David Clowney. He also said that Jonathan Vilma will not practice today and the Jets will update his status through the Injury Report.Â
The biggest announcement was a show of support for Chad Pennington. Mangini stated that Chad will start this week. Eric said he reviewed the tape and was very happy with Chad’s decision making process last week. He also said he showed “Classic Chad” with his competitiveness.
