ESPN.com is reporting that the NY Jets continued their impressive first day of free agency by signing Alan Faneca. In one day they Jets have filled their two biggest needs (DT, LG). Faneca should have an immediate impact as he will be placed in between the young but talented LT D’Brickashaw Ferguson and Center Nick Mangold.
With the earlier news that the Jets have acquired Defensive Tackle Kris Jenkins, the Jets came out swinging today. They made a big statement that they are going to try to improve this team anyway they can.
