The Jets reached an agreement with free agent tight end Bubba Franks. Bubba who is coming off an injury shortened season is expected to be the # 2 tight end behind Chris Baker.
Franks was released by Green Bay after a season in which he lost his starting job to Donald Lee. He will provide depth and experience and is still considered to be a good run blocker, so the Jets prove once again that they intend to improve the ground game in 2008.
