At the NFL owners meeting this week several rules were modified. They had discussed reseeding in the playoffs. If a wild card team had a better record than a division winner, the wild card team would get the home game. That proposal did not pass this year, keep on eye on it in future years though.
A list of the changes for the season can be found here. Some highlights include: the ability to review a field goal in some situations, five yard face mask penalty has been eliminated and the force out rule is gone.
