The NY Jets announced the cuts they made to get down to the 53 man roster limit. The biggest surprises on the list were: TE Jason Pociask, OL Jacob Bender and DB Hank Poteat.
Also after a wild day of rumors and speculation surrounding Jesse Chatman, it was announced that Chatman was suspended by the NFL for 4 games. He violtated the NFL’s steroid policy. He will not count against the 53 man roster limit while he is suspended.

TE — Jason Pociask, A.J. Schable
WR — David Ball, Larry Brackins, Paul Raymond
OL — Jacob Bender, Stanley Daniels, Kyle DeVan, Nate Garner, Matt McChesney
DL — Thomas Johnson, Bryan Mattison, Ropati Pitoitua
LB — Blair Phillips, Brandon Renkart
DB — Rudy Burgess, James Ihedigbo, Cameron Worrell (waived/injured)
