The Jets made some roster moves today. To fill the roster spot taken by newly signed Kicker Jay Feely , Kenwin Cummings was waived.
Chris Baker received a three year contract extension. He will receive guaranteed money if he takes 50% of the offensive snaps in 2008. The extension is for 12.2 million dollars. The represents a different side of “Tangini”. In the past they played hard ball even when they didn’t hold all the cards.
A few practice squad moves were announced as well. TE Brad Listorti and OL Stefan Rodgers were signed. Stanley Daniels and WR Larry Brackins were released.
The Jets also released their Injury Report today.
