The New York Jets and quarterback Mark Sanchez have agreed on a 5 year contract. Terms of the deal were not immediately available but agent David Dunn said that the deal was, “around the $50 million mark”. It has also been reported that 28 million of the deal is guaranteed.
The Jets felt it was important to get Sanchez signed so that he was at training camp, which starts Friday July 31, on time. As a first year QB he will need all the snaps he can get.
