The Mark Sanchez era is here. It may only be the preseason but Sanchez has earned a start in next weeks game versus the Ravens.
I think he earned the reps with the 1s and all that. It might have been done on paper that way in pencil, but he had to earn it. The guy had to earn his reps, and I think he’s done that. Without question, he’s done that.

Kellen Clemens started against the Rams and went 4 for 4 with 24 yards passing plus a fumble (on a sack). Sanchez earned more time with the starting unit on his first NFL pass, a 48 yard completion to David Clowney. Sanchez finished his only series 3 for 4 with 88 yards and the Jets scored a touchdown.
