Thomas Jones is as dedicated a player as you will ever meet and nobody works harder than he does. Football is a business and the Jets have made the decision that it is time to move in a different direction, despite the success that Thomas Jones had here; over 2,700 rushing yards the past two seasons.
In a sign that you can move in a new direction and still be thankful for the past, the New York Jets took out a full page ad thanking Thomas Jones for his time with the Jets. It was a classy move by the New York Jets.
