Jets Improve Special Teams; Sign Lance Laury

The New York Jets have signed linebacker\special teams guru Lance Laury.  He stands at  Laury 6’2″, 237 and played with the Seattle Seahawks last year.  Lance is 28 years old and has 63 special teams tackles over the past four years.  This move to improve the Jets special teams is important because they are a bit depleted.  As was pointed out by Bleedin Green’ in our NY Jets forum:

In the past year the Jets lost Trusnick, Carroll, Wright and Murrell from their special teams coverage. They needed to start addressing this and not keep counting on guys like Woodhead to play ST.
