Both Nick Mangold and Percy Harvin will miss the final game of the season, two of the most polarizing players on the offense will finish the season on the inactives list. On the positive side, Muhammad Wilkerson will be active for the final week of the season.
Other inactives include: Jaiquawn Jarrett, Matt Simms, T.J. Barnes, Walt Powell, and Wesley Johnson
With Mangold out, the Jets activated Dakota Dozier, The rookie offensive lineman who has been inactive all season. It might be to the Jets advantage to see what the kid has in a regular season game. Wesley Johnson has remained inactive.
Jaiquawn Jarrett is inactive again this week, it was disappointing that Jarrett wasn’t able to make any plays after his stellar performance against the Steelers.
Walt Powell is out, and will be gone next year.
T.J. Barnes is out this week, and had little chance this year to make much of an impact playing with such an impressive defensive line.
Matt Simms is out this week as well. Simms deserves a chance to make a name for himself somewhere, and apparently the Jets won’t be the place for him to do it.
The Jets’ dismal season is finally coming to a close, and it seems the only thing on the mind of most Jets fans is where they will get their first round pick in the draft.
