CJ Spiller to Work out for Jets

NFL insider Rand Getlin is reporting that former Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints running back CJ Spiller is set to work out for the Jets on Tuesday.

I'm told former #Saints RB C.J. Spiller is headed out to visit the #Jets tonight. Set to workout for them tomorrow.

A pro-bowler in 2012 with the Bills, under Chan Gailey with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback, Spiller was cut loose by the Saints after just one season in New Orleans.  Spiller could give the Jets a veteran running back with kick return experience to take on the number three spot on the roster that his currently held by Troymaine Pope.
