Forte, Leggett Out, Shell Doubtful – Injury Report
The Jets have released an updated injury report for the upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Matt Forte and Jordan Leggett are out. Josh Martin and Brandon Shell are doubtful. Those are all big losses for the Jets, and Muhammad Wilkerson is questionable. Some media members felt that Todd Bowles was very short with the injury updates yesterday.
The Jets also placed WR Charone Peake on I.R. this week.
Coach Bowles wouldn’t commit to a starter at right tackle if Shell doesn’t play and said it will be a game time decision.
It’s between (Brent) Qvale and (Ben) Ijalana.
On how Wilkerson’s shoulder injury impacts what he can do on the field…
If he’s out there, we expect him to be a full go. It doesn’t impact him at all.
For the Jaguars LB Lerentee McCray (knee) and WR Jaelen Strong (hamstring) are out. S Tashaun Gipson (knee) and LB Donald Payne (hamstring) are questionable.
