Schefter: Jets set to Promote Jeremy Bates to Offensive Coordinator

NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting the Jets are expected to promote quarterbacks coach Jeremy Bates to the offensive coordinator post that opened up when Todd Bowles recently fired John Morton.

Bates has one year of experience as a play caller when he was in charge of a Seattle Seahawks offense that ranked 23rd in points scored back in 2010.
