Report: Jets to Pick up Fifth-Year Option on Leonard Williams

Leonard Williams

File this one under “least surprising stories” in 2108 as Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News is reporting that the Jets are expected to pick up the fifth-year option on defensive lineman Leonard Williams.

The former sixth overall pick has earned high marks through his first three pro seasons, grading out at a very impressive 84.8 according to pro football focus for the 2017 season after he was named one of the top defensive players in the NFL under 25 years old.
