Jets Waive Claude Pelon; add D-Lineman Chris Jones

The Jets have announced a minor move in parting ways with defensive lineman Claude Pelon to make room for free agent defensive lineman Chris Jones.

We have signed DL Chris Jones and waived DL Claude Pelon.

The 6′ 2” 302 Jones has had stops in New England, Tampa Bay and Miami, picking up 9 sacks in 41 games (28 starts) from 2013 to 2016..
