Jets Waive Bishop to Make Room for JJ Wilcox

To make room on their roster after adding free agent safety JJ Wilcox, the Jets have announced that outside linebacker Freddie Bishop has been waived.

We have signed safety J.J. Wilcox and waived LB Freddie Bishop.

A former CFL import, Bishop started just 3 games for the Jets in two seasons, picking up 10 tackles and zero sacks.
