Injured Players Return; #JetsCamp Report 08/18
The Jets held practice on Saturday in Florham Park and it was open to fans. The news was good on the injury front as several players who have missed time returned to the field. Trumaine Johnson did miss practice with what coach Bowles called a strained hamstring (not pulled).
He strained it. We just held him out for precaution.
RB Isaiah Crowell (concussion) is also back on the field and participating in individual drills. #Jets

Kelvin Beachum and Brian Winters are both with the starting line in a walk-through portion of practice. Good sign for Jets.

Penalties remain a concern for this team, it seems to be a recurring theme.
Bowles calls the team together after the eighth penalty. And now they’re running gassers. One of those days. #Jets

Several reports indicate that it was a strong day for the quarterbacks.
Hardly a shocker here, but Darnold is getting the bulk of the reps. Again. #Jets

For the first time in camp, Josh McCown is getting some reps with the backups. Hmm. #Jets
