No London Game for the Jets
The NFL schedule won’t be released until April. There had been much speculation about the possibility of the Jets playing in London next season. It seemed to make sense for a few reasons:
- The Jets are scheduled to play the Jaguars in Jacksonville and the Jaguars are a good candidate to lose a home game
- Team owner Woody Johnson is the US Ambassador to the UK
That speculation ended today as the NFL announced five international games next season and the Jets are not one of them. Here are the 2019 international games:
Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers in Mexico City
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London
Chicago Bears at Oakland Raiders in London
Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Rams in London
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars in London
