Perhaps looking to add some more competition in the team’s backfield, the Jets are working out a familiar face in running back Bilal Powell. It was believed that Powell’s time in Green and White was over forever when he suffered a season ending neck injury last season, but this could open the door for his return.
The Jets are working out RB Bilal Powell today, per source. Powell is working his way back from a neck injury. Maybe his time with the Jets is not over. #nyj

Brian Costello of the New York Post is reporting that Powell is working out for the team today. With Le’Veon Bell, Eli Mcguire, Ty Montgomery and Trenton Cannon currently on the roster, bringing Powell back would decrease the likelihood of Cannon sticking on the team’s 53-man roster.
