Post Game Quotes: Gase, Falk & Adams Message to the Fans
Luke Falk
On if he would be ready to start next week…
If my number is called I’d be ready to roll.
On how he would describe this week with Sam Darnold’s illness and Siemian’s injury…
Yeah, it’s been a weird week. A week ago I was on the practice squad and then tonight I’m standing in front of you guys after playing in a game. It’s definitely a weird situation of unfortunate events for those two guys and I just want to go out there and do the best that I can and help my team win.
On if he thinks more practice reps will help his performance…
I think so. I haven’t been getting any reps in the sense of physical practice, you’re just trying to get the most you can mentally. But there are plays out there that I’d like back that I should be able to make without having those practice reps. But I think definitely having a week of preparation and a week of practice, I’ll be ready to roll.
Jamal Adams
On his message to the fans after the 0-2 start…
It’s tough. Obviously, all we can do is go out there and control what we can control and that is getting wins. Obviously, that is what they want. It’s very tough for them and I can guarantee it’s very tough for us. We have another opportunity, that is the good thing about this league, and it’s coming up quick so we have to get ready.
Adam Gase
Opening statement…
(Trevor) Siemian has an ankle. We have to get it evaluated, MRI in the morning. DT (Demaryius Thomas) has a hamstring. (We’ll) re-evaluate him in the morning. (Jordan) Jenkins has a calf. We’re going to have to evaluate him in the morning. Outside of that, we’re good.
On how to fix the offensive line…
I’m going to have to watch the tape. It’s kind of hard sometimes with some of the run game schemes we were doing. We’re trying to figure out who’s coming free and why. We’re trying to get answers on the sideline. We have to take a hard look at this and figure out what’s going on.
On why Trumaine Johnson did not play…
That was just our decision.
