NY Jets go Defense at Pick 184 With Linebacker Zaire Barnes

Looking to add some athleticism to their linebacking corps, the NY Jets have used the 184th pick in the 2023 draft on Western Michigan’s Zaire Barnes.

Barnes is yet another pick of the Joe Douglas era with a freakish RAS (relative athletic score) as he registered a grade of 9.11.

Over his past two collegiate seasons, Barnes has logged 163 tackles and figures to be a special teams candidate for Robert Saleh’s Jets.
