Jets add Another DT in Former Chief Derrick Nnadi

Continuing to try to beef up their porous run defense, the Jets have signed free agent defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi.  He becomes the third interior defensive linemen they’ve added since the start of free agency.

Nnadi joins former Bear Byron Cowart and Jay Tufele who came over from the Bengals in hopes of being more stout against the run.  The 6′ 1” 317 pound Nnadi started just one game for the Chiefs last season but started all 34 games on their Super Bowl winning teams of 2022 and 2023.
