Jets CB Kris Boyd in Critical Condition Following NYC Shooting

The New York Post is reporting that Jets cornerback Kris Boyd is in critical condition following a 2am shooting in midtown.

Signed away from the Texans as a free agent this offseason, Boyd has yet to appear in a game for Gang Green as he landed on IR following the team’s Green and White scrimmage this preseason.  The team is aware of the situation but is yet to comment at this time according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.
