The Jets White Out is coming to MetLife Stadium this Sunday as the New York Jets play their 2026 home opener against the Green Bay Packers. The Jets are asking fans to wear white for Sunday’s 1 p.m. kickoff as the organization holds its first-ever White Out. The team will get in on the act as well, debuting a new white helmet that will be paired with the Jets’ primary white uniform.
Fans should expect MetLife Stadium to look considerably different when the Jets take the field. The goal is to have the stands filled with white, and fans entering the stadium will receive a white rally towel courtesy of Pepsi.
Jets Debut New White Helmet
One of the biggest attractions will be the Jets’ new alternate helmet. The white shell features green Jets branding and will be worn with the team’s white uniform, giving the Green & White a complete monochrome look for the home opener.
This will be the first time the Jets have paired a white helmet with their current primary white uniform.
Jets Return Home After Week 1 Win
The timing couldn’t be much better for the Jets. They return to MetLife Stadium after opening the season with a convincing 23-10 road victory over the Tennessee Titans. Breece Hall rushed for more than 100 yards in the victory, while the Jets defense held Tennessee to 10 points and recorded three sacks. Now the Jets will try to carry that momentum into their first home game of the season.
Jet Nation also made an impression on Nashville. Head coach Aaron Glenn commented after the game on the strong traveling support, and Sunday’s home opener should provide an entirely different atmosphere with MetLife Stadium hosting the White Out.
