NY Jets Sign DT Matt Hardison

The New York Jets have signed another undrafted free agent (UDFA).  Here is the official release from the team:

The New York Jets have signed undrafted free agent DT Matt Hardison. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Hardison (6-4/285/Freehold, NJ/Delaware) participated in the Jets rookie minicamp as a tryout player on May 4-6.  In two seasons at Delaware, Hardison played in 24 games, recording 29 tackles, including 6.5 for a loss. Hardison spent his first three collegiate seasons at Rutgers, but did not see game action.
