NEW YORK JETS RELEASE
QB RICKY RAY, RB LEONARD HENRY,
and TE JOSHUA NORMAN
New York City –
The New York Jets announced today the contracts of quarterback Ricky Ray, running back Leonard Henry, and tight end Joshua Norman have been waived. The announcements were made by Jets’ Executive Vice President and General Manager Terry Bradway.

Ray, a 6-3, 210-pound signal-caller out of Sacramento State, was signed by the Jets as a free agent on February 27, 2004. He dressed as the third QB three times during the 2004 regular season, but did not see game action.

Henry, a 6-1, 210-pound running back out of East Carolina, was signed by the Jets on April 6, 2005, after a three-year stint with the Miami Dolphins.

Norman, a 6-3, 240-pound tight end out of Oklahoma, was signed as a free agent on February 1, 2005.
All three players participated in the Club’s mini-camp, conducted last weekend.
