Jetnation.com has learned that the Jets will soon be announcing the relocation of their training facilities. An announcement is expected in early December. Our inside sources tell us that the new facility will definitely be in New Jersey and that they are making every effort to keep it close to the Meadowlands.
Although several sites (five in total) are being considered Jetnation.com has been told that the front runner is Short Hills. It is an area that currently contains several thousand open acres. The Jets would purchase up to forty acres. The Jets would then build their state of the art training facility. A key benefit to this site is that it contains endless expansion possibilities.
It is early yet but the earliest they would make this move would be the start of Off Season workouts in 2007. Stay tuned to Jetnation.com your home for Jet News. As more information becomes available, we will share it with you.
