Laveranues Coles and Dewayne Robertson were not in attendance for the start of yesterdays off season conditioning program at Hofstra. Laveranues, who is a team captain, is in talks with the Jets about a new contract. By not reporting he is sending a very loud message and the Jets want to resolve this matter and avoid another Pete Kendall like off season.
