The Jets opened up the 2nd day of the draft by selecting San Jose State CB Dwight Lowery. Lowery was a Junior College transfer (5’11 1/2″, 201 pounds) and it will be interesting to see if the Jets project him as a safety or a cornerback.
The Jets did not have a third round selection this year. They traded down in the 4th round and have three picks remaining in these rounds : 5 (162), 6 (171) and 7 (211).
