Jets Waive RB Griffin, Awarded RB Stewart

The Jets have announced two transactions today, they have waived running back John Griffin and have been awarded running back Jeremy Stewart off of waivers from Philadelphia.

John Griffin is a second year player from UMass and had signed a future contract with the Jets on January 3rd.

Jeremy Stewart is a undrafted rookie free agent from Stanford who played there for 5 years.
