Jets Trade Wayne Hunter To Rams For Tackle Jason Smith

According to reports the Jets have traded embattled right tackle Wayne Hunter to the St. Louis Rams for former 2009 #2 overall pick tackle Jason Smith:

Hunter will be reunited with his former offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer in St. Louis while Smith gets a fresh start in New York after struggling with the Rams.  Smith started 6 games last season at right tackle and restructured the remaining 2 years of his rookie contract to avoid being released.
