The New York Jets have signed WR Royce Pollard to the practice squad and released WR Stanley Arukwe from the practice squad. The announcements were made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Pollard (WR/6-1/175/Hawai’i/San Diego, CA) joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent (05/07/12) after initially being invited to rookie mini-camp as a tryout player. He was waived (08/31/12) and added to the practice squad (09/02/02). He was released from the practice squad (09/12/12).
Arukwe (WR/6-0/180/Troy/Tracy, CA) initially signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent (05/11/12) before being waived (08/01/12). He joined the Jets as a free agent (08/07/12), spending training camp with the team before being waived (08/27/12) and added to the practice squad on (09/12/12).
