Blood Drive At MetLife: Tuesday 10/01

On Tuesday October 1st, there will be a Community Blood Drive at MetLife Stadium.  You should come out and see the Huddle Shuttle, the first mobile Super Bowl tour.  Everyone who donates blood will also be entered into a raffle for a pair of Super Bowl tickets.  Full details are below, I hope to see you there!

“BLOOD DRIVE TAILGATE” COMES TO METLIFE STADIUM

NY/NJ SUPER BOWL HOST COMMITTEE AND NEW JERSEY WORKPLACE BLOOD DONOR COALITION HOST SUPER COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE

11:00 AM – 3:45 PM

NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee and New Jersey Workplace Blood Donor Coalition will host a mega Super Community “Blood Drive Tailgate” on Tuesday, October 1, from 11:00 AM to 3:45 PM at MetLife Stadium, in parking lot E.

Everyone who volunteers to donate blood at the event will be entered into the Super Community Blood Drive sweepstakes to win a pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium.

Those who volunteer also will be able to tour the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee’s “Huddle Shuttle,” the first mobile tour associated with a Super Bowl. It includes the Vince Lombardi Trophy and displays an array of football memorabilia.

Donors are encouraged to register in advance to donate at the Mega Drive and select a specific time that is convenient, but “walk-ins” are welcome. Donors can sign up today by clicking on the “Mega Drive” gold star at www.njsave3lives.com.The “Blood Drive Tailgate” is co-hosted by the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee and the New Jersey Workplace Blood Donor Coalition, co-chaired by the New Jersey Commissioner of Health Mary E. O’Dowd and Kevin Rigby, US Country Head of Public Affairs and Vice President of Public Affairs for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.
