Here is our full Jets \ Patriots preview. Each week, JN will spotlight three players from the opposing team to keep an eye on. We all know about Tom Brady but here are some other players to watch on the New England Patriots…
- Tim Wright, TE: The Patriots made headlines before the season started when they traded Pro-Bowl guard Logan Mankins for Wright. The second year pro has 10 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns on the year. The Patriots are at their best when they have a more athletic tight end opposite of Rob Gronkowski. Gronk is going to get a lot of attention, and he should, but I’m not sure who will matchup with Wright.
- Bryan Stork, Center: Stork is a rookie fourth round pick. Dan Connolly usually starts at center but has a head injury and it will likely be Stork who gets the start. The Jets have oodles of defensive lineman who could lineup over Stork and wreak havoc.
- Darrelle Revis, Cornerback: Of course Revis was going to make this list. The former Jet will face his former team for the second time in his career. Revis will likely shadow Eric Decker and don’t be surprised if he takes him out of the game. Someone else on the Jets will have to step up and make plays.
