Jets Welcome Fans to Green & White Scrimmage at MetLife Stadium

It’s been a long time since the Jets faithful have had an opportunity to watch Gang Green in action, and even longer since they got to do so with any degree of optimism, but that’s all going to change.

The Jets will be holding their annual Green & White scrimmage, open to any fan with a ticket that can be printed through ticketmaster tomorrow night at Metlife Stadium.

 

Green & White:

The New York Jets continue their training camp preparations for the 2015 season with the  Green & White practice. Fans get to see first-year head coach Todd Bowles and his New York Jets in action under the bright lights for the first time at MetLife Stadium. Gates open at 5 p.m. and practice starts at 7 p.m.

Season Ticket Holders:

Season Ticket Holders: Jets season ticket holders will receive a 15% discount on merchandise at the Jets Shop.

Jets Rewards: Jets Reward members can scan their Jets Rewards card for 100 bonus points.

Activations:

Jets Fest presented by Chase: Jets Fest will replicate a full gameday Kids Zone with inflatables, a DJ, photo booth and more.

Toyota: Toyota will showcase their new Rav4 model on the plaza.

Dunkin’ Donuts: The global donut company will have tastings in addition to giving away 15,000 4oz. iced coffees.

Pepsi: The “Sip Something New” campaign will roll through MetLife Stadium showcasing some of PepsiCo’s newest innovations to hit the market distributing a variety of products consisting of; Lipton Sparkling Iced Tea, Mountain Dew Kick Start with Hydrating Boost, PACt Ocean Spray, Pepsi Real Sugar and Gatorade.

Seasonal World: Seasonal World will sponsor the Jets Launch Crew who will be firing t-shirts into the seats throughout practice.

Modell’s Sporting Goods: Modell’s will distribute 5,000 Panini America New York Jets trading-card stickers.

Pregame Notes and Entertainment:

PLAYER INTRO TUNNEL: Players will be accompanied by a game-day display of pyrotechnics as they run through the tunnel for player introductions.

ESPN Radio: ESPN Radio 98.7 FM will broadcast live from MetLife Stadium from 6 – 9 p.m.

Concessions: Fans will be able to purchase value meals of a hot dog, chips and soda for $7, and chicken tenders, french fries and soda for $10. Pretzels, popcorn and fountain soda will be available on the value menu for $3.

Postgame:

Team Autographs: Fans will have the opportunity for autographs after practice.

Gen Jets Kids Club: Following practice, 150 members of the Gen Jets Kids Club presented by Chase, will be selected to move down to the field for autographs.

Fireworks Spectacular: Following practice, fans should look to the north endzone between the Bud Light and Pepsi scoreboards for a fireworks display with synchronized music by Bay Fireworks.

SNY Broadcast: SNY will be filming on location covering all angles of the Green & White Practice. Be sure to tune into Jets Nation on SNY at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, to catch all the coverage.

Info for Fans:

CLEAR BAGS: Fans are permitted to bring inside the stadium one clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” as well as one small clutch bag, approximately 4.5” x 6.5” (size of a hand). Purses, handbags, seat cushions, camera and binocular cases are not permitted.
