Breno Giacomini & Bilal Powell Listed as Questionable

NY Jets Inactive Players

The Jets head into the week 17 match up against the Buffalo Bills in good shape health wise. There is no way you reach this point of season without your share of injuries. This week the biggest names for the Jets are Breno Giacomini and Bilal Powell. It sounds like Powell is going to be a game time decision on Sunday.

On the injury report…

Bilal Powell and Kellen Davis did not practice. Breno (Giacomini) was limited, (Chris) Ivory was limited, (Calvin) Pace was limited and Muhammad Wilkerson was limited.

On the injured player’s statuses for Sunday…

Bilal and Kellen are questionable. Breno is questionable. Ivory is probable, Pace is probable and Muhammad is probable.

On level of optimism regarding the players that are questionable…

I’m going to have to see them work out Sunday morning.

On how important it is to have Powell play…

If he’s healthy, it’s great to have him out there. If he’s not healthy, it would just hinder us just putting him out there so we have other guys step up. But he’s an important part of what we do.

On what Powell brings to the offense…

He’s an important part of what we do, but injuries at this point in the season are going to happen. We just have to keep going with the next man up attitude and they’re going to have to step in and play.
