Report: Jets Shopping Forte

Tom Pelissero of the NFL network is reporting that the Jets have called around to gauge interest in running back Matt Forte.

#Jets have gauged trade market for RB Matt Forte, who’s healthy now, per sources. But it’d be very tough to move his $4M guaranteed salary.

As Pelissero says in the above tweet, Forte’s $4 million salary could make it tough to pull off a deal.  GM Mike Maccagnan would have to get creative to attract any takers.
