Brady, Gronkowski Miss Practice; Wilkerson & Powell Banged Up

The injury report is out and for the Patriots both Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski missed practice on Wednesday. Both players are expected to play when the Patriots head to Metlife Stadium on Sunday.

Todd Bowles gave this injury update for the Jets.

(Muhammad) Wilkerson did not practice, shoulder and toe. Bilal Powell did not practice, calf. Darryl Roberts was limited, hamstring. Kony Ealy was limited, shoulder. Matt Forte was limited, toe and knee. Juston Burris was limited, foot.

 

On if Muhammad Wilkerson injured his toe on Sunday and how severe it is…
I don’t know how severe it is at the time, it’s just a toe injury. We’ll see how the week goes for him.

On how Forte looked…
Limited in some things he did, he was okay. We’ll see how he practices during the week.

On if Powell is up in the air or ruled out for Sunday’s game…
He’s still up in the air right now.
